For something like 20 years Spicewoods has been our favourite curry house.. always a warm welcome from the front of house team with superb really tasty food. There are some excellent menu choices you just wont see anywhere else (though all the old favourites are there if you prefer!). The prices aren't the cheapest around it's true but I believe you get what you pay for. Other local Curry houses go for theatrics and gimmicks - personally I just want great food in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. If that's what you like then you won't beat Spicewoods .

Never had a bad meal. The food is gorgeous and the staff really nice. Ali and the team always make sure you have a great experience! Yes it's more expensive than other places but the difference is quality, and Spicewoods delivers on quality!

Nice atmosphere & surroundings, background music was not over powering & therefore easy to chat.
Lovely food, provided by very helpful staff.

Went there this evening for my daughters 30th Birthday and the food was absolutely awesome and the staff were extremely nice and polite.
The atmosphere is very relaxing and with some really nice background music, absolutely brilliant evening and I would highly recommend.

We have known the owner of Spicewoods for a number of years now and this is the 2nd restaurant of his we have used.
Have been using Spicewoods for over a decade, we have never had a bad meal and the service is always very good. The restaurant has received a make over during the covid period, its it's never looked shabby but now really impressive. The staff always greet you in pleasant and polite manner, before being shown to your table. There is a good selection of meals on the menu, especially with my wife being rather particular with the amount of spice in her meals.
It is located next to Solihull ice rink, so there is always plenty of parking spaces, but be aware you have to log your registration as you enter or you may have a parking fine.

Great service. The owner is a lovely chap and always comes and asks how the food was and about us. Food is lovely and the price is a bargain. All in all a great place with good service and food.

Probably one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to, service is top tier they make sure you feel welcome right from the moment you enter, accommodate for every need you have. Food was brilliant, couldn’t fault the menu, wide variety and ticked every box!
Would give more stars if I could!

Fantastic place that I visited on a few occasions while in Birmingham. The owner is a welcoming and friendly person and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. The food is superb, one of the best I have ever tried. I highly recommend this place.
