Popped in to get a fish supper after bowls. It's a really buzzing place. So busy but also so friendly. Lovely staff and attention to detail. The Haddock & Chips was absolutely delicious. Enormous portion shared with hubby. We would certainly visit again and recommend it to anyone 👍 😀
Medway's always delivers great food and service, very lucky to have them in the village. Definitely the best fish and chip shop around at a reasonable price and plenty of other options with pizza and kebabs/burgers as well. Can walk in and order, phone ahead and collect or order for delivery.
What a great place! I genuinely don't know the owners or their staff but can honestly say that I am impressed by the respect shown from Manager to staff and all staff to customers - honestly top grade!
Seems though lots of young local lads are there working hard, and learning some great life skills and lessons in the process - great to experience. Fast, unpretentious polite service, often busy, popular with locals but also great fish and chips!!
(note: photo is half a regular piece of fish, half a fish cake and less than half a regular chips! Still plenty to share between me and my mum!)

First time coming here,my husband had been many times with the previous owners 20+ years ago.
Wow definitely the best fish and chips we have had since being on the beach.
Called in to put order in, was quick, still hot when we got back to st ives.
Great staff nice to see 2 young men (maybe 16ish) behind working.
Owner came out and said hello as if I had been there before.

I started work in Somersham recently and my colleagues recommended this shop as a great place to grab lunch. They were right! I popped in one lunch time - no queue - I was served straight away by a very polite and professional young man. I had the small fish and chips (£5.75 at time of writing) and it was delicious! They have wooden (biodegradable) forks and you can put the paper in recycling when you've finished eating (plus its also biodegradable anyway). They accept card payment. Bear in mind if you go next door to the Tesco's, you can get a meal deal for £3.50 - but that comes with an awful lot of plastic packaging. Go for the fish and chips once in a while!

Without a doubt one of the top 3 best chip shops I've ever been in! Their fried chicken is delicious, their chips remind me of Friday night dinner as a kid and taste fantastic, staff are a good laugh and very friendly and polite, I make a point of going in whenever I visit friends in Somersham.... highly recommended!
