Ok so I've been using this Indian takeaway for just over 4 years now and it's absolutely hands down the best Indian takeaway food in the country!
I absolutely love going here and chatting with the staff while I wait, conversing about our cultural differences, and reflecting on life.
The food and service is consistent, it's cash only so make sure you bring some with you or head to the cash point whilst your food is being prepared.
Parking is free and right outside the front door!
There is also a few tables inside for a dine in experience however we've not done this.
Was near here on holiday, great find. Food was really lovely, plenty of it. Good choice of dishes, staff very friendly, mentioned it was my birthday and got free poppadoms. Would definitely go here again if I'm ever near here
First time visiting here whilst on holiday.
Going from the reviews I was expecting great things and we certainly weren't disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a very polite well presented gentleman who took our order and spent the next 15 mins chatting to us whilst our order was being prepared. He asked us to sit down and turned on the fan as it was so hot outside. The food was exceptional by far the best Indian food we have ever had. The cheese and garlic naan was delicious and so cheesy!!
If anyone can find a better Indian restaurant and take away please let us know but we will probably be waiting a while. !!
Not really an eat-in place in terms if atmosphere but the food is super tasty and well portioned. We have never been disappointed with meals from here and it is novel to have an Indian take-away where the food still surprises you a little bit. Crunchy onion bhajis, buttery parathas, and delicious curries. The only negative is that they do not accept cards so you will need to take cash - come on guys, who carries cash with them any more? It might be the only curry house in Somerton but still one of our favourites. Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed.
came here as i was local and the service and the food was beyond expectation, they really treat you well in this place and the food was really really good. customer service was excellent, i tried the Goosh kata musala which I would highly recommend. With the free parking facility made it easier for me and the family to come to. 5 stars for this place!
Fantastic food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Arif the waiter is very attentive. We had a few requests to make the curry a bit more spicy. The restaurant is very kid friendly. I will definitely visit again. Thank you Arif
Excellent quality food. Took about 20 minutes to cook, so fairly quick service. Staff were polite.
Jalief and the guys are the perfect hosts , the food , 10/10 , polite , service impeccable, knowledge of regulars is like being a friend to them . The finest food I’ve tested since having Bangladeshi friends invite me for a sit round the pot . 10/10 all round. Dhanyadagalu . Ed 👌
I’ve eaten in plenty of restaurants all over the country and Spice Gallery Somerton Somerset is the best I’ve ever been to. Wether takeaway or sit in. The food is freshly cooked and delicious
