My favourite place for Indian food in the area. There are other places closer to me but the short drive is well worth it.
Fast, friendly service and the food is very flavoursome. I just wish they were a bit more flexible when it comes to delivering to single people. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra, but this doesn't seem to an option. Just like other takeaways.

Excellent friendly delivery, poppadoms and onion salad spot on, pilau rice perfect, chicken in the tikka masala was lovely but the sauce itself was very weird, must have had more sugar per 100ml than coca cola! Will be back but definitely a different curry next time.

Really lovely takeaway. My lamb balti was fantastic and my friends loved their rogan josh and korma. Very satisfied and will be ordering again!

So today 16/04/2022 yet again another very hot very tasty curry couldn't fault this what so ever.
Chicken tikka pathia & Chicken tikka masala.
This should be your first choice of takeaway.

I love this place food is fantastic delivery is quick.
Food is full of flavour arrives hot,wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was really impressed with the quality and the taste of my takeaway today. I had lamb naga with keema rice. The taste was amazing and what i really appreciate is the quantity of oil was very less. Complementary papadum was crispy and i truly enjoyed my meal. I normally order from just eat but today i discovered that they have their own website where you can get 20% discount with code "over14". I would highly recommend everyone to try this place

We have just had a Rogan gush and chicken tikka marsala from Sompting Spice and they were the best curries we've ever eaten.
The quality taste amount of food were great.
Wow wow wow the food tonight was absolutely fantastic thank you guys 5 stars highly recommend

Really pleased with the service and that they are happy to change / adapte a recipe due to allergies i.e no dairy
Meals also include rice so dont have to add to order.

Outstanding, the best Indian food by far, comparing Brighton, and Worthing. The pilau rice is light and delicate, the curries are full of flavour and just spicy enough.
As a "Come Dine With Me" winner, and an aficionado of Indian food, I rate Sompting Spice above all the others.
If you find a better Indian meal in Sussex please let us know!

Heard bad reviews.. mainly about wait time of around 2 hours (day of the week not specified) and I think it's through these delivery services like hungry house and just eat. Is it those companies or Sompting Spice that have the long wait time?
So thought I'd order for collection (Thursday). I was told 20 minutes. It was on time. 10% off if you collect also.
Very yummy food!!! Lamb a tad too dry but chicken was delicious.
I'd visit again.

I am happy to drive further from my home to buy here. Excellent friendly service and the food is so flavoursome. My favourite is the vegetable dansak. A good variety of veg, very tasty and spicy. Not just hot.
