Very busy little pub, atmosphere was buzzing. We ordered chicken burgers which were really nice, but way to much....less chicken! there own coleslaw touch was really nice. Service was good nice and friendly.
Went as it was a dog-friendly pub and was great all around. Incredibly friendly staff, nice atmosphere without being too crowded and very nice décor inside. Service was fast and efficient but we were never rushed, food was very nice and everything we could've needed was provided - including a mat and 'doggycinno' desert for the dog, brought free-of-charge and without having to ask. Highly recommend.
Very long wait for food. The staff were pleasant enough but we waited an hour and half for our food with young children. Lovely outside seating area and small play area for kids. When the food arrived it was delicious. Could do with some allergy friendly/more vegan options as the children with allergies in our party were incredibly limited in choice. Overall a nice place
We had a fantastic night at the Old George. All staff and the locals were very welcoming to us and our 2 dogs.
Food was excellent along with the service, which was exceptional, from the people behind the bar to the excellent waitresses and the host.
A fun lively place with excellent food and service.
Well worth a visit.

Had dinner at the George. Very good meals and excellent table service. Beef Wellington was sensational, highly recommend. Book in advance for Friday / Saturday as can get very busy. Desserts also tasty!
Super down to earth old village pub, lovely to see it full of locals enjoying a pint after a busy working week. We also had a delicious meal in the pub and their taste in music is excellent.We would like to thank Jenny for allowing us to park our motorhome in their car park overnight. All in all a very enjoyable overnight stay.🚐
A group of us went for a meal + pre ordered meal. The food was very good + everyone else's looked good too, the service was good with all the meals coming out together. It was busy in the pub + the restaurant but it was a relaxed + enjoyable evening. Very dog friendly.
We had a wonderful meal and drinks here on a warm Saturday evening. Food was superb, authentic and very well cooked, fresh and seasonal. Service was great, the head waitress was so friendly and the whole team very welcoming. The atmosphere was lovely, some low level hood music and nice lighting inside and out. We will be coming back to the area to visit this pub again

Very good food... steak was amazing and pepper corn sauce was to die for.
Kids pizza .... taste and lots of it... plenty of cheese.
Curry was lovely.
General consensus... Best pub food we've eaten in a long long time.
