We didn't book ahead and the girl managed to get us a seat. It was busy so I'd recommend booking ahead.
Food was really fresh and tasty carvery was spot on and the chef was really friendly.
For those who have kids, I only found out this time that they have a play area for the kids.
I am currently working away at the gym, so this was my cheat meal, the cakes and sundaes looked unreal and managed to do well to avoid them however will be back at some point to tackle one of those. 🍰🍨
Had the large carvery meal, it was outstanding! I enjoyed ALL the roast meats, the delicious veggies and all those lovely sauces! It was my first time here, there was 16 of us and the service was excellent. Thanks so much, I will definitely be back again, often!
Mum and dad had the carvery, the ham and turkey were both under cooked. Mum was ill afterwards. The beef however was cooked to perfection. The luxury mac n cheese was terrific. The cakes are superb, I'd go back here just for the cakes. 🤣
It was our second visit to the Red burn farm and it won't be our last, Anya who served us couldn't have been any nicer with quick and friendly service. Decent choice on the breakfast menu and we chose the buffet which was decent. The square sausage wasn't the best but the haggis was actually really tasty. The main reason we go is for the kids play area as my boys love it. Really tasty strawberry tart too! Overall a friendly, reasonably priced option which we can enjoy when we just want cheap and cheerful! Definitely recommend as family friendly.
OMFG William and the guys can cook their butts off! The roast beef was so flavourful and tender, the Yorkshire’s pudding was perfectly crispy and fluffy. Mash was fluffy and creamy. This was the best meal I have ever had in my life.
We turned up an hour early from our booking and the front-of-house staff were friendly and accommodating. The manager at the reception desk found us a table and had us seated within minutes. We had carvery and it was fresh and tasty. I think we arrived at the right time as it wasn't too busy but did get quite busy within 10 minutes. We didn't queue for long to get our food and there was a great selection to choose from.
We got cakes to take away and even at home they were super tasty.
The restaurant was clean and tidy.
Lovely evening meal. Food was good from the kitchen but the carvery was disappointing as it was very end of day. Staff were vary helpful and attentive.

One team member stands out from all the others LEO a young guy who during my visit got my seat, cleaned my table, sorted my order at till from app and was always on the go helping customers.
He was polite, friendly and very professional.
What an excellent member of staff.

Very friendly service, I was there on Sunday around 6pm and we had a group of 7. The staff were very patient with us and lovely. Food also came out fast.
There was only one complaint about one dish, which was really minor, and the staff were very helpful with that too. Only other thing was that one of the smothered chicken sauces was salty but it wasn't anything significant so it doesn't matter.
Overall, the food was good but the service was perfect.
