We recently stayed overnight and had an evening meal and breakfast. The restaurant's surroundings are like an oasis of calm and the restaurant itself is full of lovely, detailed touches. The food we had was excellent and Chris and Jane were great hosts. Our room was very comfortable. I think a lot of care and attention goes into everything and we are certainly planning to return.
We had the most delicious meal here, it was all so tasty. The vegetables with our meal were amazing! Then we had two puddings each and they were divine. To finish off the mini mince pie just melted in the mouth. Such a friendly atmosphere and lovely service, as my friend said 'That was the best meal I have ever had'.
Amazing food. Perfectly cooked duck. Best Summer fruits pudding I've ever had. Plus , the make their own Gin, which was lovely. I got a bottle. Catered for my nut allergy and most deserts were Gluten Free.
Really lovely spot for Sunday lunch, their service was impeccable and the food was fantastic! Really refreshing for a little town farm restaurant. We had a big group for lunch and service was not only on point but very prompt too. I would highly recommend them
Delicious Sunday roast. The lamb was incredibly tender. Very tasty all round and would definitely come back.

Our twin room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our breakfast was tailor made for us. What was especially impressive was how thoughtful and kind Crispin was. After a long drive we arrived late and yet he was friendly, patient and understanding. The room had little touches like lovely tea and coffee service with fresh cookies. He made an early breakfast for us to enable us to have extra time for a long drive home. Over Stratton and East Lambrook are beautiful with interesting architecture and places to walk. I highly recommend.
Great food, very well cooked and presented. Very well priced for the generous portions. Attentive and friendly staff that always remember returning customers. I would thoroughly recommend the restaurant.
Amazing location for a wedding reception. Fantastic food, fantastic hosts, fantastic everything. Absolutely superb venue/restaurant. High quality local produce, beautifully cooked and presented at sensible prices. I cannot recommend enough. What was not to love! Friendly welcome , breakfast was amazing and a great choice , rooms were cozy and you could relax in comfort. A really nice guest house in a great location. We had evening meals out and we were given some great recommendations. What a wee gem
We recently had a fantastic meal for a group of 10 of us at New Farm in their upstairs room; privately hired out. It was absolutely brilliant from start to finish; excellent communication pre booking, excellent service on the day and the food was totally delicious. Great atmosphere and really lovely staff. Could not recommend this lovely local restaurant enough; do yourselves a favour and pay them a visit!

I stopped here for Sunday Lunch on the way back from a gig in Bridport. I phoned in advance as I suspected that it may get busy...
The room is lovely! Lots of photos on the wall showing the owners' family heritage. All locals going back several generations.
I had the roast beef, Yorkshire pud, and vegetables. The portions weren't huge but it was enough to keep me going for a long drive home.
Nice chat about tribute bands to the owner Sue (I think, sorry if that's wrong!) who clearly is very proud of her place, and rightly so.
It's very out of my way so although I'm unlikely to visit again, I really enjoyed my brief stay.
