We was on our yearly pilgrimage from Sheffield to south sheilds to visit family there. We went to the trimmers last year under different management. Yes it was busier last year but I'm led to believe the punters weren't just frequenting the place for drink and atmosphere. Last year it was just another rowdy pub with decent music. This year however we were met and treat with a personal touch the new management obviously know what it takes to run a legendry pub where true memories are made. I just hope people don't judge this place on previous management because the new people are in a different league.

Went to a friends family birthday party. Prices fairly reasonable. Place was clean and staff very friendly

Live music venue - always have acts on, seating is sparse however and many are expected to stand, though there is a secondary room with more seating available

Great place if you're looking for live music. It can get quite busy so if you're looking for a seat, make sure to get there early. The outdoor area is set up really nice if you're looking for something a little different.
