Spacious cafe spot in South Woodham Ferrers :) ✅ Homemade bread! Really delicious. Reasonably Priced. Iced Latte drinks are really good. ❎ Was told our food would take 10-15 minutes, but instead took 40 minutes.

Had such a lovely experience today. The food was lovely, especially the sandwich bread! Couldn't expect otherwise with somewhere called Bread Box. Highly recommend to anyone and a much lovelier experience than what you'd get at Costa a few doors down. If I lived closer I'd be a regular visitor, but perfect little treat and place to take my mum when we're in the area. Good food, good value and a great service.

Visited on 12/9/23 for afternoon tea with my son at 13:00hrs. The food was absolutely perfectly presented and the sandwiches were so light and well made I’d say the best afternoon tea sandwiches I’ve ever had so soft and fresh I loved them with a variety of fillings the cheese and tomato was lush as was the tuna ones ! The scones were warm and so light and again perfect and melted I. Your mouth there was ample amounts of cream and jam too no scrimping in that as some places do. Then there was a selection of bite size chunks of various fresh cakes which were sooooo good too, we couldn’t finish them all so we’re given bags to take the cakes home which was helpful We had a pot of tea and a couple of fresh coffees which were both good quality tea and coffee really enjoyed them Staff very polite and friendly and toilets were spotless too when we used them I would 100% recommend this place as it was one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had ! I will be re visiting as I really enjoyed it and the quantity was outstanding Well done bread box thanks for having us

Boss got me a sandwich from bread box, chicken and bacon mayo, fantastic flavour, went there myself today had coronation chicken, again amazing sandwich. Some of the best food I've had. Going back tomorrow hope they do Sausage rolls!!

A selection of freshly made sandwiches using white or granary bread. Good selection of cakes too. Some hot foods also available including jacket potato, soup and breakfasts. Good selection of teas and coffees. Nice to see an independent doing well 👍

My fave spot to go straight from the school run and get my daily coffee fix! They do the best Iced Lattes and fresh yummy cakes 😍 Always a calm and friendly atmosphere, especially from Dan and Claire who me and the girls love having a chat with ❤ A breath of fresh air to Woodham 😁

Fabulous little coffee shop, food great quality and good prices. I had the egg mayo sandwich on granary bread and it was sublime. Cakes looked amazing although I didn't try them on this occasion. Service was excellent. It was busy when we were there, peak lunchtime trade and seating was limited but we found a table. Toilets were clean. The only downside was the small amount of seating inside which could be a problem as it (and quite rightly so) is very popular.

My friend and I had afternoon tea there yesterday. We’d never been to Bread Box before so didn’t know what to expect. I can’t praise them highly enough. The afternoon tea wasn’t just ample it was in abundance and so very very tasty. Most definitely value for money and the staff were absolute fantastic, accommodating and very attentive. Nothing was to much trouble and we noticed how they were so good with people with children who came in. Now we have found this little gem we will most certainly be back. Thank you for making our afternoon so pleasurable. Oh and the takeaway boxes for what we left was greatly appreciated

I’ve been eating at the Bread Box since it opened and it’s still really lovely, the sandwiches are freshly made and the coffee and cakes are exquisite, so much nicer than chain coffee shops, really friendly people too

My wife and I had an amazing Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea at the Breadbox today. We have been fortunate to enjoy afternoon teas at many establishments over the years and this really was one of the best. There were so many sandwiches that we couldn’t finish them. This was followed by a lovely selection of cakes plus a scone with clotted cream and jam. We will certainly be visiting again and will bring our friends. The service was very professional. It’s primarily a bakery (bread and cakes look really tempting) so there are only a few tables and you will need to book. They also serve breakfast and a selection of sandwiches, rolls, etc. I really cannot recommend it highly enough.
