This was our second visit and again we were not disappointed. We had the Set Meu again and selected a mix of vegetarian and carnivore mains. The food was absolutely fantastic and as delicious as the previous time. As it was a wet mid-week visit we were treated to a reasonably clear restaurant and were duly given personal attention. This is not to say that no-one was eating there that night. As well as a handful of families, there were many 'take-aways' throughout the evening and this place is obviously well known on the circuit. The service was as excellent as the last time and we managed to have a good chat to the waiter about more than the superficial trivia that other resturants engage in. We felt welcomed and valued as more than just customers. We shall definitely go again

I have ordered food from Beity’s a number of times and have also visited the restaurant. The food is great, particularly the Shish Taouk. The chicken is cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly and cater for allergies. I have a nut allergy so they always ensure they are careful with my food and pass on the info to kitchen staff. I will certainly order here again!

First time visiting the restaurant, pleasantly surprised by the experience. Went with my husband for a casual, quiet dinner. Food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared, the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Prices were very reasonable! Great atmosphere! Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Not a massive choice of Lebanese food to be had in Southampton so this fairly new restaurant was always going to be on our radar. Reviews checked decisions were made and last night 4 of us gave it a shot. What a great place!! We arrived about half an hour early but they seated us quickly (the place was initially pretty quiet but soon started getting busy). We always try and stay authentic with our drinks choices so went for the Lebanese wine options, which turned out to be rather good. After the 5 bottles we got through last night I think it’s safe to say we properly sampled it!! However the food was what stood out for us. Starters of spicy sausage were bursting with flavours from the tangy citrusy sauce cutting through the rich spices of the sausage perfectly. Halloumi and Hoummos Sharwarma were the other starters, all good - although the Hoummos Sharwarma wasn’t quite the best we had ever had, not bad at all just not the absolute best. Mixed grills next for two of us with a moussaka and mixed Sharwarma for the other two main meals. Excellent charcoal flavours on the meats, really tasty and flavoursome Moussaka and great chilli and garlic sauces. If you enjoy garlic you will love it here - although the amounts provided do mean that you have to put yourself in isolation the next day !!!! Baklava and Mohallabiyya were the desserts of choice covered with pistachios and all very good. I’m not sure if Baklava is traditionally served warm or cold - we have had both in restaurants. This one was cold which made it more flakey and not so gooey. My personal preference is slightly warmed with lots of lovely honey dribbling out. Not to say in anyway these were bad at all just a preference thing for me. Service was good and friendly and informal which was also good. All in all it’s great to have a good Lebanese place in town long may it flourish and continue .... we will certainly revisit !!

We went in for a quick dinner before an event. We had ful medames and moutabel (an aubergine dish like baba ganoush) as starters with pita bread, and then moussaka blzeit (aubergine) and bamieh blzeit (okra) as mains with rice. Really generous portions, and very tasty. I also had delicious freshly made lemonade with mint, and my husband had a Lebanese pale ale. There were other vegan choices that we didn't get to sample, and we'll definitely be back. It looks like they also have bellydancing on other nights, if you want some entertainment with dinner.

Honest food . Reasonable Prices. Visited whilst working locally. Chicken schwarma was good as was the halloumi. Staff attentive but not pushy.

Went for a meal with friends one Saturday in January. The service was excellent the food looked and was amazing. Great flavours and the aroma had me salivating and i couldn’t wait to taste. It is fair to say it did not let me down the best Lebanese meal I have had in a long time. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.

Great restaurant, the staff is friendly and professional, the food is delicious and display worthy. I rarely go out, but I’m glad I can find places like this when I spend time with friends. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Suggested by a friend and so pleased we went. Have been to other Lebanese restaurants and this is close to the best. We went for the Beity Set Menu which was excellent value and all dishes delicious. The Tabbouleh is packed with fresh herbs. The mixed Sharwma very tasty. The ice creams and Baklawa a great finish. We had mint tea and tried the red Lebanese house wine which was very fruity. Only problem was that the portions were so generous, we couldn’t finish it all! Excellent, friendly staff.

Lovely dinner - lots of varied foods on a sharing platter followed by Lebanese lamb. Complemented by a very nice bottle of wine and topped by coffee. Great service too.

Medium sized party at Beity last night, all decided to go for the Beity set menu. The starters were basically two types of houmous with thin flat breads (cold) and some falafels (OK). So not much effort required so far. The main mixed meat platter contained a number of meats cooked different ways but all were very dry, served with rice. The only sauces arrived in tiny dishes each containing less than a tablespoon of sauce, to share between several people (tasty in places but a very dry affair). Deserts were quite nice but looked quite mass produced. Service was slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Had better middle eastern/Turkish food elsewhere.

The one and only Lebanese restaurant in Southampton and they do a great job in it! I have been going for a long time now and it just keeps on getting better. The food is delicious, especially grilled plates as well as the scrumptious appetisers, the staff is very friendly with great customer service and the atmosphere is cosy. They have live music and a belly dancer from time to time which adds great entertainment as well. As someone who is a great fan of the lebanese cuisine, it is great to have such a place in Southampton!

Came for a late lunch to take ourselves away from the busy Christmas market. Not sure what to expect, but wow we were not disappointed. We chose a few starters including the grilled aubergine and and lamb sausage, the flavours and smells were wonderful. Mixed grill and shawarmas for main were delicious and the Lebanese bottled beer was so good!! The welcome and service we received was so warm and generous, we will definitely be returning. If like us you are looking for somewhere independent away from the usual restaurants this has to be worth a visit!!

Went there on a lunch visit , have to say the food was lovely and the venue was nice and spacious , very friendly staff and nice beer . Place felt clean , every part of the cutlery plates and glasses was really clean : Them sauces tasted amazing and fresh along with the meal . I had a kebab there but could tell it was freshly cooked . Flavouring was excellent where I felt gutted when I got to the end of the plate as was enjoying it too much . Would recommend it this restaurant to anyone . On the menu , they try their best to base things on Lebanese traditional food . Will try again definitely.
