The Chef reccomendWe have dined here a few times as we are local. The food is always great but the Sunday lunch is especially excellent. They have a set menu which fairly priced and have great service.
Excellent Sunday lunch. Good menu selection with small & big plates. We had a flat bread & olives to start followed by roast pork belly with all the trimmings. Excellent food well cooked & presented. Friendly & attentive service to boot.
Came here for our Xmas lunch, 45 of us in total. All very pleased with food & service. The food was good quality and delicious, service was great and everyone got their food in good time. I think this is a rarity during the Xmas season so this was a good choice!
Popped in with a bunch of colleagues after a uni presentation. It was a nice spot in a convenient location with a nice range of drinks (wines and beers) and nibbles.
Visited here twice in October. Excellent roast on a Sunday for lunch. Staff friendly. Mixed clientele the day visit very busy. the mid-week visit not so at all. Staff as attentive on both occasions. Will visit again
Excellent stop off before Southampton home matches, really friendly staff, always efficient and excellent service. The new menu when we visited is up to the high standards of the previous menus. Nice bar area and separate restuarant seating.
This was our first time at Ceno's and we were impressed! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent! Ruby band were playing and they were brilliant! Live music, good food and great company! Will defintly be back! :)
We have been coming to Ceno for years. Always greeted by very friendly staff, Lorraine really looks after her customers and is most welcoming. Great new live music night is fabulous, was so much needed. Fun atmosphere & great friendly service. Food is lovely! Always a good time here :)

I had visited Cenotaph before with a friend and was impressed with the nibbles so decided to bring my family who were visiting Southampton. The food was lovely, I had the pork noodles. It was gorgeous! The only complaint was the music was far to loud. My poor Nan didn’t talk to us the whole meal due to being unable to hear and we were all sick of shouting at each other by the time we left!! A shame really because the restaurant is so nice
Stopped off at Ceno today for a roast, and It completely exceeded my expectations! The “roast with the most” was a great idea and gave us the option of everything! Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy and comfortable. 100% coming back and would recommend a trip to Southampton for! See you soon Ceno!
The four of us had a delightful break in our journey from Wimborne to Crawley, before dropping off my niece at the airport. Despite arriving early, we were welcomed in and offered coffee and a comfortable area to sit. The food was delicious, plentiful and varied. The were very attentive and friendly. No wonder the place was packed by the time we left. This place really gets it right.
Staff were really friendly and the surroundings were ok. Sadly my burger was disgusting. A rubbery thing shoved into a bread bun. I suspect this thing started off life as a cheap burger and was then left sitting in a warm tray or oven to dry out and solidify until it was needed. Not somewhere we will be rushing back to I'm afraid.
I was one of a party of 6 at 12:30 pm on 25 September. The food & atmosphere suited me. The table service did not. The starters & main courses for all of our table were served at the same time. When we queried this the waitress said one of us had asked for the courses to be served together. None of us recalls asking for that. I believe this matter should be an individual decision. I have reviewed it because I have heard an unprompted story of it happening to another party at Ceno.
As always ceno never disappoints on Saturday I had a lovely surprise celebration tea.The food was a lovely mix of what ceno always do best.All the staff are very professional and friendly .A perfect day was had by myself and all my family and friends Thankyou ceno
Went looking for a great Sunday roast and was told to go to ceno. I have never left a review before but I just have to today the food was top notch 4 roast perfectly cooked and massive portions I can tell you we did not leave hungry ! But what has really made me right this review was just how friendly all the staff where. Thank you to the two young ladies who looked after us !!!
Went into this place to ask a question. The bar staff was so rude told us they closed in ten minutes. On our way back the bar was still open.their loss we had a lovely meal elsewhere
Went to Ceno for first time with my mother at lunch time , had lovely food, great service and nice atmosphere. It was so lovely I came back with my husband to have a drink and nibbles in the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the manager and her staff were very attentive and the nibbles on the slate were delicious. So much so we had the taster mini puddings and they were equally as divine! Would recommend Ceno to our friends and family.
Brilliant, friendly service, staff helpful, knowledgeable of local upcoming events. Great drinks, even better food. Good price for quality, on everything. Warm, welcoming, clean, comfortable, will recommend to all my friends.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here to celebrate our daughters birthday, 8 adults,2 children & 2 toddlers, the food & service was amazing, my 2 year old grandaughter requested cranberry sauce with her dinner & because they didn't have any a member of staff went to the shop in the pouring rain & wind to get her some! Thank you for making her day x we all thoroughly enjoyed the food & the staff were amazing
