Good menu, specials are different & this week they were donating to Australia animal charities too. Schnitzel was great. Huge bowl of sweet potato chips. Too full for desert which was a shame as they looked great!

The reviews are great and the pictures looks good but I left feeling disappointed. I found the chips to be lukewarm and the ‘meaty’ burger to be a poorly constructed burger. The whole place was just lacking, including the staff, who barely acknowledge you even when you order. Overall - it’s OK but I wouldn’t rush to go back.

Great place. Struggled to find a seat but eventually managed to sit and order. Very fast service and tasty food although the sandwich did fall apart a little but that was probably more my fault. Great to see more veggie and vegan places popping up.

We just left Debenhams and noticed this interesting café that looked a good place for a coffee. What we didn't realise until we had ordered two flat whites, was that it is a vegan café and therefore did not have ordinary milk. The pleasant lady behind the counter recommended the oat milk. Opinion was divided on the coffee I found it to be okay, my partner was definitely not keen. The prices were reasonable £4.50 for two flat whites.

I love to visit Cafe Thrive when in town, the restaurant is really fun, the food is great and the staff are usually pretty welcoming. Often there's some sort of offer on too with certain foods, good way to try plates you would not otherwise! At the moment there's half price burgers for Veganuary, wish I could get over there as they are great! Last time we visited I had the natural burger, it is different but it's also everything I wanted it to be! Thanks!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. My dad had a coffee with oat milk (which he had never had before) and said it was the best coffee he'd had in ages! Would highly recommend the sweet potato fries, so so so yummy :)

Awesome Vegan food and drinks, plenty of seating including upstairs and outside. On our last visit we had the breakfast which was delicious and really filling, excellent friendly service and would thoroughly recommend 🌱💚

We visited for the first time yesterday and weren't disappointed. The coffee and cakes were great, and reasonable priced. Small problem with our order and an incorrect item, but this was quickly rectified. I'll be back to try the savoury selection soon!

My partner is vegetarian and i like to try out local businesses. This place is really nice and have lots of choice. Vegan mayo was really good

Really tasty food and nice atmosphere. Dessert was incredible a peanut butter blondie. Minor criticism salad was a bit tricky to eat in a small bowl and the sun dried tomatoes weren’t chopped up at all.

Lovely cafe with lots of options, for breakfast or lunch, nice vibe, friendly staff and tasty food! Would always come back whenever I'm in the area

Lovely muffin and great coffee! Husband also had some scrumptious falafel in a wrap. Fantastic, would definitely recommend.

A great place to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lots of Vegan options, including some naughty pastries, and decent coffee. I particularly enjoy the breakfast, served with a decent portion of Kale, and scrambled tofu.

One of our favourite places to eat. A visit to Southampton is not complete without popping in at least once, sometimes twice. The luxury of being able to choose anything from the menu or specials board without having to check it's vegan. The joy of seeing so many people choose vegan. The delicious inventive food. The great service. We have our favourites (his are the wholefood burger and 'chicken' wrap, mine the sweet root salad with Mediterranean'cheese' and roasted walnuts or the balsamic mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and cashew 'cheese' sauce in a baguette) but today we had brunch. We haven't had the full breakfast before as we are not normally there early enough. I was able to tweak mine to my own taste. It was so filling it kept us going until after lunch. We ended up going back when we had finished Xmas shopping, but decided we couldn't manage lunch. So we had a coke before deciding to get cake to take home. We can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you are vegan or not,pop in, try something new and support and independent cafe. It does get very busy at lunch time and sometimes there is a short wait for tables, but it is well worth it. 🌱

Really lovely vegan snack at this lovely café. The pastries are amazing and the milkshakes are incredible, and absolute must check out if you’re in Southampton! Can’t wait to go back and try all the other food.

Very busy cafe on a Sunday lunchtime, but we were able to get a table upstairs. Upstairs is a little basic and could probably do with a spruce up but it was fine. We had two absolutely delicious vegan sandwiches - the Reuben and a cashew cheese with balsamic mushrooms. Both moist, exploding with flavour and made with really nice bread. All the other food that was being served to other tables also looked great. I think this place will become a regular shopping pit stop, and may also try it pre cinema/theatre.

Don’t know why we have not been here before! Great food and an extensive menu. More seating upstairs too. Worth a visit. Would have given them five stars but would like tea in a pot rather than having a teabag in a cup and toilet was a bit dilapidated. Friendly staff. We had the Thrive Bowl, Root Salad and ‘Chicken’ Burger and Chips (see pictures).

I was meeting up today with 2 friends. The weather had scuppered our original plans, and a quick search on trip advisor brought Cafe Thrive to our attention. None of us had been before. 2 of us are vegetarian and one gluten and dairy free, so it seemed a good choice for all. The choice was vast, the food was good. None of us had to worry about avoiding things on the menu, which was great! I’d definitely recommend 😊
