This is MY Indian restaurant of choice in Southampton! We ordered three different starters-chicken tikka, king prawns, lamb tikka. Every single one was absolutely delicious and on point. For the mains we ordered two different curries; one was a prawn in korma sauce and the other one was a chicken tawa.
Perfectly spiced and balanced in their flavors. Also order garlic naan and Pudina (mint) paratha. You will not be disappointed.
The service was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. I will definitely be back
Great menu with non-standard choices. Lovely, unique decor which evokes the vibe of the food and its origins. Warm, welcoming, responsive staff.
Just realized that it's Brit's famous place to eat because we were the only Indians dinning on Friday evening in the restaurant. Food was tasty , we tried Panner pakoda , tandoori mix , jumbo naan (my fav), Panner stuffed parota , bhindi masala and all were good. Quantity is also good enough and the price is comparatively less than other Indian restaurants.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Southampton. It locates at Shirley high street. Food was tasty and staff was very friendly. Great experience.
They decorated the restaurant so beautiful, I think they are one of the best Indian restaurant I tried in Southampton. The food was so delicious and fresh. The rice cooked properly. They had a good customer service as well . We will back again
Overall 5 stars, the food was incredible and the location great. All the servers were nice and had great reccomendations, only downside was that the place was busy so some things were missing/in a weird order. Overall amazing place and would come again.
We booked Sanjha to provide some food for a recent family wake and we were absolutely blown away by Amar and his team at every point. Responsive and sympathetic from the first phone call, reassuring throughout the planning stages and on the day they were prompt, respectful, easy to work with and the food was delicious. They really made the whole day a lot easier and we cannot thank them enough for their excellent service.
It's not the biggest restaurant, however probably one of the best. Food is always excellent and presented beautifully. Very clean and welcoming environment.
Proper traditional (Indian & British Indian) tasty food. Good size portions and never disappointed.
Also used for a family functions for 150 people and didn't let us down. Everyone was happy, and food was spot on.
Highly recommended.
Really tasty food and great service. I genuinely think this could be the best curry in Southampton. For me, this was a 20 minute drive and there must be at least 20 Indian restaurants closer, but next time I want a curry I will go back to Sanjha.
Fab food and ĺove the quirky decor. Warm welcoming atmosphere. It appears that the family eat there, so that's a good sign! The owner takes a personal interest, and the staff are very accommodating. It's great value for money and really enjoy eating here.
