We were looking for something/somewhere to eat while we were visiting Southampton. Rang for a table and the lady confirmed to just turn up and we were able to pick a table. Again there were 4 us including two children of which they had a children's menu to choose from.

Great meal, good range of beer, nice place. The meat platter was impressive, too much food to finish! They allowed us to swap the wings and ribs for extra sausages and turkey as I'm not keen on meat on the bone.

Food is amazing. As you can see I tried to take a photo of it... Too late. Beers are good and the Mango cider really is heaven. With a bit of ice. Ribs are the best every single time and they do a lovely service.

Fantastic food... Usually. My most recent visit was somewhat lacking, not sure why, every other visit has been amazing! But the atmosphere was great and the drinks are always good! I'll definitely go back, one trip out of ten being not as good isn't bad!
