Indian Melody - Southampton - Photo album

Having read the reviews we were sceptical to say the least, but this indian was round the corner from our hotel, offered vegan food and claimed 'authentic indian' so we were interested to try. We weren't disappointed, the staff were friendly and wanted us to sit in and experience the food, but we we
Very nice authentic Indian food, would recommend and will probably be back for another meal soon! Good value for money as well
Having lived in India for nearly two years. I can say this place has “high quality, authentic Indian food” majority of India is vegetarian. So other Indian restaurants I have been in Hampshire are far off to traditional tasty veggie food. The food here is delicious as if you were in south India itse
Very tasty Indian restaurant in Southampton
Honestly the best Indian I've ever had. The food was authentic and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. The staff seemed to love working there. Don't be put off that they are a vegetarian restaurant, I'm an avid carnivore and didn't miss meat at all. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and i stopped in for lunch, and were warmly greeted by the waitress/owner/manager? We enjoyed a lovely vegetarian buffet, and didn't miss meat one bit. Highly recommend it for authentic Indian food, it's not the normal anglicised stuff you get in most Indian restaurants. We will be back!
Very grateful that coriander lounge was fully booked otherwise would have never of found this place! I didn't get the impression that my meat eating friend was overly enthusiastic about going to a veggie Indian but was completely over ruled considering the amount of harvesters and steak houses and n
Warmly greeted as I walked in. I was served quickly and given good honest advice. The food was great and I definitely recommend. I am having a hard time believing all these bad reviews. I feel like they are biased in some fashion. I do feel like the decor could be improved but other than that I am
Wonderful South Indian cuisine served by a wonderful friendly team. Lovely big open kitchen where you can see your delights being prepared. Who needs meat when you got all of these lovely dishes.
Impromptu visit as we passed this little place and we were impressed with the ambiance and the attentiveness of the staff. The gent who I assume to be the manager/owner seemed truly passionate about his restaurant and proud of the produce of his kitchen. I also didn't realise its vegetarian only un
Such a wonderful place! After having a bad evening at another local Indian (which I walked out of) I decided to go into Melody. Such an amazing dining experience! Not only were the staff helpful and friendly but they also made me a dish that wasn't on the menu. The flavours of their food is wonderfu
Food is great but the service sucks. I have been for breakfast buffet. they give you a tiny plate and ask you to reuse the same plate. they will not give you large plats even if you ask. no customer service at all. one more pathetic thing is, they bill you based on number of plates you take, for a k
Fantastic restaurant for vegetarians and meateaters alike. Our guests do not notice the absence of meat as the food is so good! Everything is cooked fresh, a lot of the produce is brought in from the restaurant's own farms in India and is essentially organic. My wife and I have been several times
Indian restaurant's always tend to be expensive and this was no exception. However I found the food good. It was like home made food my wife makes.but off course five times expensive. Inspite of that I will rank this highly as a this is fully vegetarian and offers much better food than other Indian
