Despite its location, the Bengal is a deceptively nice place! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic! They are also more than keen to provide you with a doggie bag to take away if you're like me and have eyes bigger than your belly!

Fantastic Indian food, aromatic, tasty and fresh. We've just moved into the area and our previous local Indian restaurant was an award winning restaurant with an AA rosette etc. and I have to say the dishes at Royal Bengal were just as good and actually the peshwari naan was better!

Just returned from a meal at the Royal Bengal, in Hamble, now under new ownership. The food was excellent and all of us enjoyed our choices. Service also very good. We'll go again. LMN
