Really friendly and helpful staff. Very lively bar in the evening. Dining area with a great varied and well priced menu. Cosy rooms away from the pub making for a quiet stay. Would certainly go back.
A group of us, called in for lunch, we had a little bit of a wait, but all our orders arrived and everyone was pleased with their food. The hotel is having some outside work done, which involves lots of scaffolding which makes the place look uninviting, but it's open as usual. A good size car park. The toilets are clean. And there is plenty of room inside for eating and drinking.
Pre cruise stop over. Gareth was the perfect host, friendly and efficient. Food was a real bonus, excellent quality and plenty of it. Breakfast included anything you would expect. Plenty of onsite parking, room was more than adequate, had tea , coffee. water, en suite and had a great quiet nights sleep.Thanks again to Gareth and the staff.
