We used to live down the road and this was and still is our local. I planned a suprise party and the crown did not disappoint! Thank you to the lovely staff for preparing a wonderful table and decorations, and making it a fantastic evening.
Four ales on tap and new management have re-introduced the old Crown burger. Tastes even better than I remember and I've been eating them for the best part of a quarter of a century. Happy days...
Lovely day/evening in what was my old local 25 years ago! Fantastic atmosphere, very friendly staff and new owners, great food, very reasonable prices! Clean and welcoming!! Will most certainly be returning often! I work in hospitality and am very critical. This gets a definite 5 stars from me. 👍👍

I was taken to The Crown yesterday evening by two good friends. It was my first time and I loved it. Very friendly staff and customers and a lovely atmosphere. Popped in here for the 1st time yesterday & ordered fish & chips! The fish was great & the chips were fantastic too! For only £9.95 felt I got a bargain! The staff were very friendly & also the locals! The pub was filling right up when I left ready for the Sunday night quiz! I'll be back for sure to
New people running this popular pub are doing okay and heading in right direction. I wish them well as its not an easy job. Food was well prepared and served to the table in timely fashion. Evening entertainment was good fun.

I came in on Monday 21/08/23 had the most amazing burger I’ve had in a very long time the food is amazing!!! I came back the next day and had the meatballs again they were amazing…. I would recommend the crown highly…
Pints arn't cheap but it's in a fantastic location and the staff are great. Foods decent too and a really clean pub with a good experience. Only reason for the 4 stars is most pints are £5+ but apart from that I do like it there and would happily come again.

Food is as it has always been for the last millennia. Good pub food and not £15+ a pop like some other places. Very reasonable.

We came here not for the beer, but for the grub. I got a crown inn burger, and it was indeed a delicacy. The food was great and had large portions, but the wait was a bit long.
Superb steak and chips. Quality 2nd to none. Also ordered a chicken burger with chips. Came without salad but asked for a side and no hesitancy. They produced a fresh lovely side salad. Lovely staff. Nothing to much trouble. Highly recommend. Always been a lovely pub and even with new owners has
One of the local pub near university of Southampton. We sometimes going there for lunch and drink. The food quality is average and my favourite food is their mushroom soap, it’s really delicious.
