Welcoming friendly Conscientious helpful staff. Very clean throughout. Great choice of drinks and welcoming regulars (1st visit). Would recommend highly. Like a pub should be. Will be back.

Lovely little locals local . Always get a warm welcome it’s justt a proper pub where people go to meet other people and kill a few hours over a jar or three. It’s how pubs used to be before they all got too swanky .

A gem of a pub that u need to look up. Good ales, lagers and ciders, with a nice sun trap of a beer garden too. Recommended!

Great food. The fish portion was huge and juicy and much appreciated after a day of travelling. Loads of gluten free options and they specially prepared a fryer for the chips. Amazing service and they were attentive throughout.

We love this pub. Well kept beer, great pub food and really good service but really disappointed having braved the wind and rain on Wednesday to find a notice on the front door saying the kitchen was closed. Had to go elsewhere.

Excellent meal and first class service. We phoned up at short notice and booked a table outside in the garden. Met with a friendly welcoming greeting and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were really good value for money. The Sunday roasts are of a high standard and super portions. If you have an appetite then this is the place to go Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, The Palmer family.

Nice food, plenty of it. Unfortunately they only have 1alcohol free beer,which if you are diabetic like me is of no use to you as it contains too much sugar. Nice pub though, owner is friendly, food prices are very good.

Went to The Cottage for Sunday lunch today and it was amazing! Had roast lamb and there was so much meat, best roast we have had. Friendly good service too. Would definitely recommend this pub for great food. We will be going back soon.

Well what can I say! We had two tables booked following my Mums funeral. The landlord and landlady were very welcoming, the regulars were welcoming too. The food was amazing, everything home cooked and very generous portions too. Would highly recommend this wonderful place

Staff are very friendly, beer is good, nice garden and great food. Don't go there if you have a small appetite the portions are huge. Home made scotch egg is lovely and the fish is banging. Enjoy.
