The Four Horseshoes - Southampton - Photo album

Didn’t start well had to wait 15 mins for drinks, had to reorder as our drinks order had been lost. Got to be really honest service was a little slow for a Tuesday night. Yes the service was slow but no means poor, very few staff who were over whelmed for a Tuesdays bar and restaurant was packed out
The food here was really good. I had 3 courses: Salt and pepper squid, chicken and leek pie (specials), with the star of the show being the crème brulé. This came with a scoop of berry sorbet and a couple of sizable slabs of white chocolate with raspberries in it. Very rich, and finished off the mea
Very elegant pub-restaurant, with an amazing atmosphere, good food, and definitely dog friendly service. Food was good. it was a shame that only the burger arrived plain with no side salad or slaw. Staff friendly. Toilets clean.
We were looking for a good venue for a long lunch and catch up with friends. We definitely chose the right place. Delicious Steak and Stilton pie…
What a gem, love the colour scheme, decor and the food was really great. All the family really enjoyed their meals - steak, chicken burger, chicken supreme. Really disappointed to miss out on a pudding, they look amazing! Already planning when we can revisit to sample one! My mother in law struggled
Second visit to the Four Horseshoes and just as good as the first. Food was delicious (though they were missing a few desired items from the menu) with the perfect balance of flavours. Like others have said the chicken supreme is worth a try! Portions do look small at first but don't be fooled; they
Stopped here on the way back from the coast. Food was really nice and there was a good selection of difference dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Really nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Would recommend.
Wonderful staff made us feel very welcome, they were lovely. Smashing atmosphere. And that's before I even mention the food, which was a gastronomic delight. Literally the best risotto I've ever had!
loved the food was tasty, service was a little bit slow but the food came out hot which was good, place is designed nice, the chairs where just close to eachother the ones where 2 people sit, they could just remove a table and make out space,, overral cool place whod go again
What a brillant find this pub was. Not much to look at from outside but lovely inside. Service was excellent and they all looked so smart in their uniforms. Nothing was too much trouble and if you asked for anything they were straight back with it. Food was really good too.
