Been on my to do list to complete the current Southampton brewing scene. A hidden gem beers brewed right in front of you with good selection and keenly priced. Aware lots people waiting for the Oxford St bar but always great to go to the actual source. .Review isn't mad but Mad Cow is amazing!

Absolutely awesome tour, beer was great + flowed very liberally. The food was really tasty + filling (meats, cheeses, breads, chutneys, olives, pork pies) with plenty to go around too. The master brewer was a character and seemed really enthusiastic about his work, overall a brilliant time, highly reccomended!

I was given a brewery tour for Father's Day. It was brilliant! This micro-brewery has only been operating since Feb 2017 but already has a great range of IPAs, APAs, double IPAs, stout, and porter. Rob, the head brewer has a real passion for all his brews and spends time to develop the various tastes and styles. On the basis of what I experienced this is one small business that really deserves to succeed. We also got the chance to try a brilliant Bourbon Stout called Gunslinger that is 9.9% ABV. This was incredible, rich chocolate, slightly bitter coffee and treacle aromas and flavours. This was a complex treat for the senses and despite the ABV was not overwhelmingly powerful. I'd love to go back again. Well done!
