A lovely work friend bought me an afternoon tea as a get well prezzie, and today was the day that my Best friend and I enjoyed it! It was a very tasty afternoon treat, with good selection of tasty sandwiches and a mouthwatering array of cakes and scones with cream. Tea and coffee was plentiful and was topped up for us when we had finished first pots Staff were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was calm warm and friendly. Lovely way to spend an afternoon with my friend . Thank you!

Really enjoyed the French onion soup with my other half. We then shared the tomahawk steak with the selection of sauces. All were great, absolutely loved the peppercorn sauce.
Slightly over seasoned with salt. However not a deal breaker.
Icecream at the end was magnificent.
Pricey for quanity/quality. Rib Eye steak was more like an American breakfast steak. Definitely not a thick cut. Lamb was okay but a little over done. Ordered medium & was more on the well done side. Service was very good.

We went during a quiet period for an afternoon cream tea experience, which was purchased for us. It was a clean, well maintained environment.
It's in town, near the red funnel ferry terminal. We do prefer country houses, views and gardens. This was still an enjoyable experience and definitely worth the money.
Good quality steaks which are cooked to perfection. Good selective menu and fairly normal pricing for a restaurant of this quality. Found the staff friendly and attentive. Nice surroundings. Easy to park.
We stayed at the hotel and had afternoon tea included. No selection of different teas but a choice of tea or coffee which was fine. The sandwiches, scones and cakes arrived on a rather unusual rectangular wooden stand and the selection was good. Sandwiches were cream cheese and cucumber, beef, ham and mustard and smoked salmon. 3 plain scones and 1 fruit with a bowl of cream and jam. Cakes consisted of carrot cake, chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake and macarons. Altogether a good selection and very tasty. Service was good and attentive enough without being overbearing.
We came here for afternoon tea and it was lovely! Really tastey cakes, good and tea.
We booked online and our table was ready when we got there. We were stayed for over two hours and they offered to refill our teapots when they were empty.
It's only £27 for two people, you cannot go wrong with that. Lovely restaurant and hotel as well.
Would definitely reccomend!

Fabulous service, food was okay. Not much atmosphere, horrendously expensive parking!
