Korean BBQ Manna
Is the perfect venue to sample Korean food, and it acts like a Marketing Banner, for all in Southampton.
I visited tonight and the meal that I had; was a Korean Delight, that made me glad.
The food was great, so many unique flavours dancing round my plate.
And the refreshment that was served, Had a unique taste. This was due to it not being common place.
The ambience of Korea was within your space.
The Korean TV in the background, gave an authentic base, to build upon the experience; before the food I did taste.
Lovely food! Friendly service and giant portions! The waitress even gave my partner a fork when he flailed and struggled with the chopsticks!
This is the best Korean fried chicken I've had the chance to try, and the best Korean food in general tbh. I've tried to find places in London that could match it but have been unsuccessful so far. It's absolutely worth a 1.5 hour train each way to come to Southampton just for this restaurant. It's a 16 min walk from the train station. It can be quite busy so I'd suggest reserving a table on their website.
The chicken is juicy on the inside and so crunchy on the outside despite being slathered in sauce. The sauce itself is amazing; it's sticky, savoury and sweet, and spicy if you want it to be. I've tried soy garlic, honey garlic and peanut butter and they were all incredible. Other recommendations would be the japchae, jjajangmyeon, gimmari, beansprout salad, kimchi and the tteobokki (or rabokki if you want it to be more filling)! The BBQ is great too, about what you'd expect. It's not the main event so there's only four meats but still worth a try.
Service is fantastic. Our server made sure that a modified dish for my vegetarian friend had no fish cakes in it. He changed the BBQ grill paper without us asking and as soon as our water jug was empty, he brought us a new one before I even realised myself. They're happy to give recommendations and accommodate requests when they can.
Cannot sing their praises enough, do yourself a favour and check it out if you're in the area!
The best fried chicken I’ve ever had!
The Yang Nyeom wings were so so good. Perfectly crispy on the outside, succulent chicken, coated in delicious sauce, and very hot & fresh too.
The Bibimbap was so tasty and hot.
We also had LA Galbi Ribs to cook on the table BBQ which were really nice.
Service was great & friendly.
I will definitely be back!
The food is so good, kimchi jiggae and soy garlic chicken wings are my favorite!! always come back for thiss! Cheese Rabokki was good too, generous portion🤤
Hands down best Korean BBQ in Southampton! My favourite is the KFC Yang Neom Wings and the BBQ sets. So so good. Will keep coming back!
We came here because my boyfriend was about to go on holiday to South Korea and wanted to try Korean barbecue for the first time. It didn't disappoint. We had beef, pork, chicken and veg all in one set, and everything was so tender and expertly prepped. This was by far the best chicken we've ever tried (a friend who recommended this place said the same thing) and we're definitely going to have more Korean barbecue in the future. Whilst we were having our meal we were already planning when we would come back. Our server, Nick, was amazing. He talked us through the entire thing and even gave us loads of recommendations including where to learn about Korean culture, food, and all that good stuff. The rest of the staff were so kind and helpful, and even though you could see they were extremely busy they were always ready to come over and help you even before you asked. Would highly recommend.
This is place is fabulous! Very clean and bright. If you want to try some Korean's food, this is the place to go.
I think the atmosphere, the different choices of food and the friendly staff are all good elements to have an amazing time. The KFC and the barbecue were excellent, and the jasmine tea 🍵 was great. Have a try on different dishes to share and you will not be disappointed!
We felt very welcome from the start until they closed. Everyone was so chilled and very helpful by making sure we were receiving a first-class service !
However, I must say 'booking is essential ' you may be waiting for 5 or 10 minutes until your table is ready.
Nevertheless, I can assure you that it really worth a try! I 👌🏾👏🏾😀
We don't go out that much as everywhere is so bad, this was my sons idea for his birthday we went on a Saturday night had the most amazing experience, the service is exceptional they helped with the BBQ and where very tentative. The food is out of this world, the setting is amazing with such nice vibe and very good music. The drinks are very sensibly price a beer £3.9 and coke £2 and no service charge! Will be definitly be returning even though it's a 1 hour 30 minute round trip. Cant fault it best meal out for a long time .......
One of the best Korean restaurants in the UK. The food is very fresh, delicious and the staff is kind. The food we ordered was very authentic and good quality. Good value for money.
Came here for a birthday meal and was very impressed by the food! All the food was incredible and there were a lot of options . The staff were all very nice and they also do take away boxes in case you can't finish ! Overall very good
A super popular restaurant. It’s suggested making a reservation before hand. When we two people arrived at 15.55 on Saturday, there were three groups of people waiting in front of the restaurant; moreover, it’s almost full around 16.30. When we left around 17.00, there were a few groups of people waiting for seats.
It’s my second visit. Fried chicken was unbelievable yummy. Rabokki was so tasty, pleasantly chewy rice cakes & the perfect spicy-sweet sauce. Jajangmyeon tasted sweeter than Rabokki but also good.
