Leon - Rownhams Southbound

The staff were very attentive and helpful as the self service ordering via touching the screens like at franchises like Burger King weren't working. They were very fast and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. I asked if they cooked their vegan patties etc on a separate grill from the meat one and they confirmed this straight away (unlike a franchise that shall remain nameless but is in violation of the Vegan Society's "seal of approval"). We just noticed that the tables at which we sat and those around us were "salt-y" ie had salt scattered on them and some had water etc on them but we saw that only two amazing ladies were doing all the work of ordering, taking orders to tables inside and out, clearing the place where trays are put etc. so we just moved to another table. Thank you for the vegan options for myself and the carnivore options for my partner who is a committed meat eater!! Can't wait to come around to you all again.

Good place to stop. Took break while on trip from London to Bournemouth. It has all options of Rowhams such as Mc Donald, Leon, SPAR, Noodle Bar, Costa, Slot Machine Games & WH Smith, see pictures. It also has outdoor seating in lawn with many benches. A dog friendly place. Medium capacity washrooms but huge car park. Has 2 electric charging bays. Parking beyond 2 hours attracts charge. My advice would be not to use the gas station adjacent to it as they charge 15 percent more than any other fuel station in the same area.

Just had nice food from Leon. Girl said run out of rice, si choose to have chicken burgers instead, she also put in a pot of stay sauce for my hubby so not to disappoint. Mat say I think it was the most tastiest service meal I've ever had, fresh, hot, quality amazing slaw was very fresh, coffees really good too. Shame I can't remember the girls name amazing service, friendly welcoming. I visited on Sunday 19th Feb at around 6.30pm.
