We held my dads 70th birthday do in the Lapstone a few weeks ago and it’s was fabulous! In the words of the man himself, it was exactly what he wished for and more! The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating . The food was fabulous, (as always). The cocktail trees went down a storm! We had family coming from across the country and they all loved it. How lucky we are to have this wonderful pub in our area.
We recently had our 2 daughter's christening here and what I can I say other than WOW. Everything was excellent. The hot buffet was delicious and catered absolutely everyone. They also did us a sweetie cart and we had the option of ice cream on the day. The staff were brilliant and provided excellent service. The room looked absolutely beautiful when we arrived. Would thoroughly recommend for any event or lunch/dinner with friends and family.
I had a great visit to the hub, they offer so many things to do for people of all ages. I really enjoyed how important the community is for the lapstone and the welcoming atmosphere is above and beyond. Great pizza oven, and recently fire works display. Children and dog friendly.

Beautifully renovated and truly a great result, after what seemed to be an age.
This is a lovely place to come and enjoy great food and drinks, but beware it isn't cheap. That said, for a special occasion it's likely to be very suitable.
Good sized car park and nicely landscaped garden. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Although I live local to this place I had never been in it. My friend and I were desperate for a coffee after late night shopping and we went in there to see what it was like. I didn't realize it was a coffee and pizza hub as well as a pub. What a wonderful place. I will definitely be using it in future as my coffee go too. And will definitely be trying out their pizzas soon. Well done Lapstone I wish more pubs were like you.
A unique venue .... Pub.... coffee shop selling italian gelato, pizzeria and Eden Project style dining pods. Food choice is a little limited but we loved the shared starter and the rib eye special was cooked well. Limoncello shots on the house as a birthday treat .... Many Thanks
Had my wife's 50th here last Friday in the marquee, On the run up all the staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, Have to say what a great time had by all we had around 60 guests, The food went down really well and because of the great community support the atmosphere was excellent and once our Dj finished our friends joined in the main bar and continued to have a blast, The next day Marco ( head chef )spent a bit of time chatting to us, All in all a great experience, keep up the good work and many thanks for helping making the evening a memorable event 👍👍👍
First ever visit to The Lapstone Public House by myself and my daughter and, it certainly won't be our last. Superb food, superb service, superb atmosphere but, above all, Gerald (our very friendly staffie) was made most welcome
