Lovely place! Really excited to see what an amazing job has been done with the space, and welcome a new café in the neighbourhood. Very welcoming and good vibes. The cookie brownie was divine. Staff was efficient, smiling and polite. Coffee was also good! Will 100% be returning!

Made the effort to get out of bed (not order on overpriced apps) and have some brunch at Mettricks. It was a wise choice, food was lovely. We had the open breakfast wrap which is a millennial dream - with chorizo and avocado in it. And the place is dog-friendly so it was a nice bite before going on a walk. The staff were really friendly and service was top notch. We'll most definitely be coming back. The coffee had also got better since the last time I went to the Mettricks in Woolston, signs up saying they roast their own coffee now.

Mettricks is one of those coffee shops/cafes that's just genuinely great. The staff are all super friendly, the food is always on par and the drinks are always great. The daily offering of freshly baked cakes and pastries is always worth a trip. Reasonably priced, good atmosphere and never a complaint to be had. Keep it up!
