Tried Hedge End and Eastleigh Greggs. Bitterness definitely do the best cheese ham toastie. Unlike the other two i mentioned who’s are dry, hardly any cheese and don’t even cut them in half. Greggs in Bitterne is one of the more sizable branches in the local area with a large seating area should you not wish to take your food on the go. They have a huge selection of products available and are always prepared fresh that day!
The breakfast at Gregg's and their cuppa is what I need before starting work. Delicious. The staff there are also really kind and always smiling
