Imo consistently the best chips in Southend area!! Even on matchday when people are queuing out the doors, the staff work so hard to get everyone served as quickly as possible.

My wife and I ordered our sit down meal for our wedding to cater for 63 people. It all turned up on time and steaming hot.
We advised nick that there were eight tables that needed to be served.
Nick and his team carefully made sure each persons order was in the correct bag.
Nothing was missing, no order was wrong, the food was perfect.
The sit down meal is obviously a fairly big part of the wedding and the fish house made it perfect.
We couldn't recommend these guys enough.

Fresh cod, fresh chips, both were delicious especially the chips. Good prices too, they do a small cod and chips for £6.70 which is unbelievable. We had medium as they didn’t have large left, chips was £4.50 though but it was one of the best chips ever, really soft and flavoursome.
