You can tell after the first taste, that the chef is passionate about serving up the best possible dishes using the finest ingredients prepared freshly and with love. What an absolute gem of a restaurant! The food here is simply fantastic, and that’s coming from someone who regularly dines at Zuma, Novikov, Nobu, etc. We ordered a good selection of dishes and they were all excellent. The restaurant itself is bright, spacious, nicely laid out and spotlessly clean and the staff are both friendly and attentive. The quality of the ingredients and the standard to which they are prepared are both exceptional. If you like Japanese food then you should definitely check out Yoshishi, cannot recommend highly enough.

Firstly I don't want to sound snobby but I like my food, I work in London, lived in London previously for 17 years and eat in lots of nice places. So my comparison is based on that. There has quite obviously been a lot of money spent on this place from decor to making sure serving staff are trained. My wife and I had a mixed hot and cold dishes. The food is Japanese with some Korean. The chap who served us was superb. Quite obviously trained, appeared interested in his job and efficient. Top marks for him. Had vegetable dumplings and prawn tempura to start. All good. Main courses was Sushi plus Chicken Katsu with Japanese curry sauce. The sushi was top notch. You could immediately tell it was fresh and good quality. The Katsu came out in a hot stoneware bowl which did a good job at keeping the dish warm and was extremely tasty. No complaints. All I am going to say is try it. This is an excellent, top quality restaurant. Staff are professional but relaxed, food fresh and priced well. Starter and main courses for two with two drinks each was £50. My advice would be go to the restaurant and eat to get the best quality from the dishes and the experience.
