Beefeater Strawberry Field

Had their double stack burger. Burger was nice however a little pink in the middle and the coleslaw was off. I did report this and an apology was given, I was offered a replacement but didn't want another portion of 'off' coleslaw 🤷‍♀️ staff were friendly once they'd started to serve us. Kinda ignored us when we walked in even though we'd book. Meal was £16.49 for the burger, bit overpriced!

Buffet breakfast... Food was all ok, if a little slow with the topping up the juices and the milk for the coffee machine etc. It seemed like one member of staff was trying to run around and sort everything out and was getting quite stressed out bless her whilst no one else was visually making any effort. She was working hard to sort things out but sometimes a few people took her as rude.

Food was great.shame about the service. Ordered bottomless drinks.was sitting dry for 10 mins as the waiter/waitress just looked and walked on by.whilst 4 of them were having a chat at the bar So had to go up to the bar to get more drinks. Might be an idea if the staff can't be bothered to serve the bottomless drinks to have a dispenser where customers can refill. Bear in mind the place was dead

What a delightful surprise! I’ve not been here for a few years; and previously had been underwhelmed and often disappointed. Not so this time. We were greeted by Vlad , a very impressive and personable gentleman who showed us to our table and made our young grandson feel very special and not invisible as is so often the case. Vlad returned several times to check we were happy; nothing was too much trouble for him. Our waiter was a chap called Caleb. After the the fantastic experience with Vlad, we were astounded that Caleb also treated the diners with kindness and respect . He too made sure our grandson was very happy and attended to. Quite a remarkable experience, and the polar opposite of all my previous experiences there. Obviously things have improved beyond all recognition. I have no hesitation in recommending Strawberry Field, and we will certainly be returning again soon.

We eat at this restaurant almost weekly. The staff cannot do enough to ensure our comfort and enjoyment of meals, particularly when guests accompany us. The Manager Tommy treats us with total respect and today, not for the first time, Natalie our waitress coped very well with our large table of 9 guests. Our usual waitress Magda was having well deserved time off. Our waitress last Sunday was also taking her A levels, as well as working a long shift at Beefeater. All excellent staff. Cannot recommend Strawberry Field too highly. Today’s birthday lunch was excellent. We have also celebrated birthdays here- in fact 18 of us recently attended a 60th birthday meal.
