We booked for 15 people on Saturday 28th October the same night as the Halloween Parade. The whole process was superb from the booking to when we left. It was obviously very very busy with take aways and people were waiting for the parade to come passed but the service from the owner and his staff was amazing. The lovely young girl that took our order was so good she didn’t stop smiling and she got the whole order right. The fish and chips was beautiful as were the other dishes can’t recommend this cafe enough thank you so much to all of you. We will be back.

We bought down 25+ elderly people for a free trip from St. Albans. Bella John's were extremely helpful with the making the initial booking and when we arrived their service was exemplary from start to finish. The food was fresh and delicious
Bella John's went out if their way to make sure all the visitors and our staff were looked after.
Would definitely be booking them in the future for our return next year.
Back here again today (25th October 2023) for another free taxi trip to southend and again, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. Keep it up

Fantastic service from the lady serving us. We were a big group and she was extremely attentive, friendly and patient. Kids loved the food, decent scampi and chips and ice cold drinks. Thanks for the easy and pleasant experience

I had the best tuna mayo jacket potato and rest of my family enjoyed the fish and chips. That’s the best jacket potato I ever had ❤️

Delicious fresh cod. We were a large booking, the service was fast and attentive. You won't get your traditional chip shop chips here which i was a little disappointed by. But overall good

I've been to a few fish and chip shops in the area but this place is by far the best. The fish is perfectly cooked with a light crispy batter and the chips taste delicious (cooked in separate oil to the fish which is good for vegetarians). The staff are very friendly, providing good service.
