Unbeatable fish and chips ! Great value, service and massive size ! Oh freshhhh every time.
A classically styled seaside fish and chip shop on the seafront. Albeit a little dated in its decor, they seem to have done the toilets up which is nice. I suggest they continue renovations as funds allow as the staff are very friendly and helpful and the classic unpretentious styling is a breath of fresh air.
The best fish and chips I've had for over 10 years! I must have walked past this place a thousand times because to be honest, it does not look amazing from the exterior. It's not amazing on the inside either by any means but it has a lovely skylight right in the middle of the seating area which makes for a nice, well lit space to enjoy your food. I thanked the staff on leaving only to be thanked for visiting (very modest) because the food was far better than I expected. The best fish and chips in Southend for me by a long margin.
