I visited here with my colleagues and had a lovely time. The service was exceptional. The food arrived promptly and he food was surprisingly delicious. They have a wife selection of beers on tap. We tried the chicken Caesar salad, chicken and chorizo pizza and fish finger sandwich. The haloumi fries were tasty!!
Just avoid the omlettes, they are getting a bad shout on Google reviews.
Amazing place. Food is perfect and plenty and the service is excellent. Totally recommend the place. Relax when waiting for the plane with good food, nice music and amazing people working there with top customer service skills.
Pretty much all you could ask for in an airport pub/bar. Its the only option here at Southend airport so it could be much much worse. The stand out feature are the staff. I arrived before 9am and the airport was pretty much dead on a Tuesday out of season. The venue is very clean and the decor is a pleasant welcome. The food is good at least what I ordered. The customer service was super friendly and helpful, the staff seem happy to work here and a delight. Well done team keep up the excellent work.
The Navigator was a fine establishment. As I walked through the doors of Southend Airport, I caught a scent of their popular chicken Cesar salad. Welcomed by a polite member of staff at the entrance, I decided to take a comfortable seat facing the north run way (good decision). After moments of ordering the food arrived - talk about efficiency! Washed down with the finest pint of hells I have had in my lifetime, I can’t doubt that the Navigator have got pub grub on point, with a dash of true Brit spirit.
I had a very good vegetarian cooked breakfast here which arrived very quickly and was a generous portion. Not quite sure why the other reviews are so terrible as my experience was fine although it was early in the morning so perhaps when it gets busy the service deteriorates?
5 on 5. Efficient staff, great atmosphere, good "old fashioned" seating. Don't suffer fools gladly. Food was actually pleasant, would recommend "terry's special", the fish finger sandwich. Peroni was tasty and quenchedy first to the extend that I had 5 more.
To compare the navigator to a Michelin star resteraunt would be doing it an INJUSTICE. INCREDIBLE expirence, the chicken and chorizo pizza was what I can only describe as beautiful. Frankly I feel the chef laboured for weeks over it, but it came in under 5 minutes. I may be bringing the wife here for Friday night dinner, no flight needed
Food came out quick, tasted great, and the service was friendly. A little steep in price but that's airport food.
Food was excellent handy for a pre-flight meal with a good menu choice. Staff friendly and good service.
