Salt Cafe

We decided to pop in to check the place out seeing we needed some refreshments... We picked up a couple of teas and a milkshake for myself, the feedback on the teas were that it was pretty standard, nothing to shout about. The milkshake on the other hand...the worst made milkshake I've ever purchased, it tasted horrible, not worth the £3.00 i paid, not even worth 99 pence in my opinion. Hopefully the food tasted better than the beverages. The place was nice, you can relax and take in the scenery. The staff were also nice, so can't say nothing bad about that. All in all, isn't bad, just don't purchase their milkshakes, or perhaps just not their strawberry version...

If you walk to the end of Southend pier, it's nice to find this little cafe for a snack and refreshing cuppa! It is modern and nicely laid out with really good views. The staff are friendly and helpful and the range is good with reasonable prices given the location. Toilets are modern and clean and is a good idea to pay them a visit if you are waggling back down the pier.!
