Came in for a spot of lunch on a Sunday. We called ahead to book but was told no need. It was too hot to sit comfortably outside, but we managed to secure a table inside by the window with a nice breeze. We ordered a sharing platter which was absolutely delightful! We also got a jug of Pina colada which was very tasty.
Would 100% recommend eating here!

Suspect my pint came from the bottom of the barrel, but it happens to someone every barrel, bit like Russian Roulette, and this was my turn. Would be churlish to let it change my opinion of the place.

I was there for a wake. It was very busy. The staff although very pleasant were rushed off their feet. It's a very nice pub, comfortable surroundings and has an outside seating area. Plenty of parking, don't forget to put in your vehicle registration number just inside the door. I would be happy to revisit and try the menu.

Was a little slow getting food to us, but it was 6.30pm on a Saturday!
Although very busy, it is a huge pub so didn't feel it.
Went on a Thursday evening for a nephew's birthday meal. Staff were cheerful and helpful. The food was good and they worked hard to get all 11 meals served within as short period between the 1st and last as possible, so no one was left waiting.
The overall atmosphere was busy but relaxed and there is enough space between separate groups to feel comfortable.
The garden is also a nice family=friendly area when the weather's OK.
My wife and I go there at least once a week. Good value food and a fair selection of ales (could be better). Staff are always friendly and helpful
Fabulous evening with sister and brother in law. Food was delicious, hot,tasty and cooked to perfection. Staff were brilliant, brother in law done on holiday and said he will remember the Old Walnut Tree, thank you all.
Myself and my friend visited the walnut tree for a meal and drink this evening we was served by Luke who was very nice and polite gave us another option off lager as they did not sell Budweiser he offered us a small taste of another lager which was very nice of him to do, food was amazing and service was good too
Lovely pub, friendly staff, good menu choices & deals. Large car park & easy to get too.
All good, will visit again.
