Frolics Restaurant

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. I went there for lunch yesterday with my two daughters and we had a wonderful time. The food was exquisite, so tasty and so well presented. The menu was brilliant such a good range of things to choose from. Well done to the chef The service was incomparable so friendly, yet also discreet. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely small restaurant with exceptional service and exquisite food. Eventhough the menu is smaller than a lot of places, there is enough selection to cater for everyone and the meals are amazing. The meals are not overpriced when compared with other restaurants and the food is fresh and delicious. It doesn't have many tables which adds to its charm and the level of service they can offer, however there is another room with tables downstairs. Well worth a visit for a special occasion but be prepared to book. A lovely treat.

Excellent intimate setting. Food was exceptional with good portion sizes. Host made it a relaxing and welcoming environment. Will be visiting again. Make sure you book to guarantee a table. Parking is limited. Some bays or road parking. Larger pay and display car two minutes walk past restaurant available.

Absolutely brilliant meal from start to finish. Owners are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, kind. Celiac restrictions not a problem nor vegetarians. Presentation and quality of the food is of the highest standard. Real works of art! Highly recommend this fantastic place to dine whether lunch or dinner. What a lovely restaurant!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was outstanding, from bringing complimentary bread and oil, to topping up people's drinks, to making sure everyone was happy. Such a lovely atmosphere! The food was really tasty and very well presented, we really enjoyed all our courses. We will definitely be returning.

After a day out at Southerndown walking the clifftops and enjoying the sea air, this was the perfect end to a beautiful day. We had the warmest welcome upon arrival by the lady at front of house, she couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We both had a three course meal and it was very reasonably priced. More importantly, the food was delicious, excellently cooked with fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be visiting this quirky little restaurant again!
