My wife and I fancied fish and chips and found this little gem tucked away on a back road but wow, the fish was amazing and the chips were perfect! Also had a side if gravy which was also beautiful

Had lunch here yesterday, the best fish and chips we've ever had by a country mile. Freshly cooked, didn't have to wait long and very reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit, we'll be back.

I have had dinner here on many occasions, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and plenty of it. And the occasional celebrity also pop in, David Jason being one of them when I was eating there.

Went for first time today, my god absolutely beautiful fish n chips batter so light fish as white as snow. Service excellent... And fantastic value for money... Thank you sooo much!!!! 👏👏👏

Tried a takeaway after reading the reviews. Should have guessed how good it was by the length of the queue even though it was a very wet and windy Sunday afternoon. Fish, chips, peas all cooked to perfection and very pleasant staff.

Amazing food...every week the family try a different chippy in the Northwest and this is the only one we have been back to, twice as a take out and once eating in. Ten out of ten every time. As it stands we have tried over 30 chippys in the last year and this is number one and for that it gets my one and only chippy review. Its just great for everything, well worth the drive to get to it. 🌺

Second time visiting this Chippy / restaurant, and both times, it's been great. The Fish+Chips meal with mushy peas bread and butter with a pot of tea is well worth the money. Happy staff on hand to take your order and all cooked fresh for you. I will definitely be back.
