What a Fabulous place. Wonderful Welcome as we entered. We opted for the Thursday Madness deal, 2 main meals and a bottle of house wine for £22.15. What a deal. Mixed Grill, Steak, Pork Steak, Gammon Steak, 2 Sausages, Black Pudding, Egg and Grilled Tomato AND Vegetables and A Big Bowl of Chips. My wife had Chicken Strogonoff. So Tasty. Hot plates. Very Highly Recommended. A Must Visit Place in Southport.
Booked in passing for Saturday night. So glad we did. We had a great time with good food and service. There is a regular singer on Saturday night and the entertainment was great too with everyone up dancing. Sal the owner and waiters were very friendly We arrived at 8 and didn't leave to near midnight. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! Besides the amazing food, the owner, Salvatore, who also serves the table was very friendly and fun! Me and my husband had a great time! It is a great location, in the middle of downtown. Lots of stores around. Will come back!
We visited Fortunata last night and as I don't normally write reviews, I feel our experience was more than worth it. Salvatore's service was more than hospitable in was was a warming and friendly atmosphere. The food really was worth retuning for and portion size was very generous. I just want to thank Salvatore, Colin and staff for such a lovely evening, we would definitely return!
If you're in Southport the you need to try this place out. The food, atmosphere and service are all top notch and the owner Salvatore is a lovely guy and went out of his way to cat with everyone, especially the kids. Family friendly, affordable, good quality 10/10
Seems to have a bad rep locally for some scandal in the past but honestly I couldn't really fault it.
We opted for the set three course menu as it had a very decent selection lamb, duck, steak, salmon etc.(not just the usual pizza and pasta options). The food was well cooked and tasty with reasonable portion sizes.
Service is typical old school Italian... attentive but at the same time a bit haphazard.
The building could maybe do with a bit of TLC but it gives it a cozy feel and it seemed clean enough.
Overall a really decent informal Italian eatery...I'd certainly come back if I was in the area.
Absolutely gorgeous food. Very relaxed atmosphere. Fabulous staff. Its a little gem of a restaurant and so glad we paid a visit. Will definitely return..
I've just had a delicious Sunday lunch of garlic mushrooms, then turkey (roast potatoes, plenty of veg). Nice comfortable atmosphere from welcoming staff. All this for about £10. Will I return? YES, YES & YES again! Wally
