Good food, prompt service, can get quiet busy so do book ahead.
We had a Christmas meal here. Everything was well presented and because we were early the restaurant was not that busy. Prompt service delivered under the watchful diligent eye of the manager.
Casa Italia was an outstanding culinary experience. Warm welcome. Exceptional service and very good value. A must visit if eating in Southport.
Cento per Cento! 100%. I have lived in Southport now for 10 years and this has always been my favourite place to eat. The kids love going here on Sundays as do my wife and I when just the two of us can escape together!
The food has always been excellent as is the service.

Well worth a visit. Was just passing through southport and stumbled across casa italia. Have just finished a meal with my family and every dish was first class. Beware of the calzone. It's enormous but according to my daughter, utterly delicious. The staff are really friendly and helpful and make you really welcome. All in all a lucky find.
Absolutely fantastic food, could not fault it. We were in Southport for the weekend and fancied Italian. What a find! Apparently this was the second night open for the new owners, but the service was professional and very friendly. I can highly recommend the lamb shank, and the mash was super creamy. Only wish we lived closer for a return visit!

Thought we would give this place a try after seeing it had reopened and I'm so glad we did!
Starters were very different to the normal offerings at an Italian which was great. I had a fillet steak for main which was cooked to perfection and had a lovely sauce, blue cheese and parma ham and homemade chips. My partner had risotto which he said was also delicious.
The service was also brilliant, very attentive and the owner was lovely to chat to. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next weekend!
Had a lovely meal at this restaurant. Restaurant has new owners who were so friendly and really looked after us. All food freshly prepared and owners have done a great job on the interior. Music was charming. Delighted that restaurant was nice and warm as always worry about being cold when trying new places. Will definitely be going back.

We went here for lunch on Sunday and were very impressed. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, but what really made it was the service. It was excellent - our young daughters were really considered, with one being given her own little special melon dish to match mine. We could not have been more happy with the way we were looked after by our waiter. We'll definitely be returning.
Just literally came back from the restaurant. Have to say I couldn’t fault it. The staff were friendly, we were served within a reasonable time. The food was perfect. We liked it that much, we have booked again for tommorrow.
Have already eat in a few time, the waiting time will obviously depend on how busy it is but even tho the food doesn't take to long. Like the restaurant mood, cozy, not noisy, great to have a family dinner of even if you go as a couple. The only issue will be if you have a person with a wheel chair, the toilet is in the first floor without a way to reach it without using the stairs. Had never a complain about food, tasty and warm. Good costumer service from waiters.
We came here in august and the food was beautiful.The staff was friendly and very attentive.Everything about this place was amazing.Would definitely recommend it and will return.
Love this place. Breastfeeding friendly too, I don't take the Mick though and I do use a shawl but they didn't bat an eyelid when we asked for a table where id feel comfortable to feed my son and didn't stick me at the back corner like some places do. Food is always gorgeous here. Cooked fresh in open view kitchen. Lovely end to a shopping/fun day in Southport
