After running a few errands it was time for breakfast. We were close to Ainsdale and decided to head to Dukes. A little quieter than our first visit. Good open space with room around the tables. Additional seating at the bar and outside for those nicer days or those with pets. Good, well made latte
Lovely warm feel to this bar/ restaurant, staff very welcoming and knowledgeable, decor and lighting , makes this place , comfortable, cozy and inviting
Lovely litlle roadside cafe bar. The small breakfast was perfect. We'll cooked, we'll presented and just the right amount. It's not often you notice how we'll the toast was cooked.! Great value for money and really friendly staff.
Had a lovely evening with my friends. Food great especially the deserts! Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Highly recommended. Will be back soon.
I visited Dukes for lunch with my family. The food was delicious and the staff members who served us were very helpful and very friendly. We will certainly be visiting again soon.
I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this place. We stumbled across it while travelling in our van, literally parked right outside and had the most amazing meal! Stopped in for a pint after getting off the train from the match on Saturday. Looks really clean and inviting from outside. Inside again is really tidy with great decor. After a 15.1 km Meander along the first part of the “Trans Pennine Trail”, we enjoyed a well earned rest, a couple of pints and a very nice meal. Helpful friendly staff and a very pleasant environment. An ideal location for those, like us, using Merseyrail.
