Cheap and cheerful, the food was good better than expected. It can get busy here, but the staff keep up with the service and cleaning. I always use the app now as it's so easy.
Nice spacious pub typical Wetherspoons cheap beer and cheap food. The only criticism is that some of the staff would rather talk to each other than pay attention to their customers.
It was a great visit today in Southport. This business is by the Lord Street, a few minutes away from the pier and Marina. Lots of fish and chips shops, souvenir shops and penny arcades around. Was pretty busy, but the staff keep the tables clean and COVID safe. The service was relatively fast, and the normal Weatherspoon's taste/ quality. Staff is friendly and helpful - can't say they're smiling because of the masks π Worth a visit, cheap place... Wasn't the first or the last visit there...

Some negative comments in the Echo, from people who hate it, but I had several great meals there in 2022, first was around April, and will miss it, like the one in Bootle, closing 18/12 π‘π π‘π π€¬
Enjoyed a superb breakfast, for a bargain price of Β£7.00 including free refills on the coffee / tea.
Feel that is good value and would opt for that over most hotel breakfasts on quality and value.
I don't like bacon so had hash browns as replacement.
Absolutely love it here. We come for a brunch every time we stay in Southport. Food lovely and served hot. Very large seating areas both downstairs and upstairs. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Sadly the pub is no longer open as of February 2023 so the photo is now just what you could have won.
It's a 'Spoons so what's not to like! While other pubs are fleecing their punters with near 5 quid pints it's nice to get two for that price and change to boot.

Decent place to have a bit to eat whether you're alone or in a group, can reserve tables to sit at if a meal is planned, prices are okay too. Good variety of food and drinks.

This Weatherspoons in Southport is huge. There are 2 entrances in an L shaped building, plus an upstairs and seating outside. So take time picking your seat as there are so many to choose from. Great food, plus some interesting flavour ciders in the festival all at a reasonable priced. Especially liked the fruit and ice cream. Have to include a photo of yet more pretty toilets at a Spoons.
