Nando's Southport

Not been for years but work mates talked me into coming along. Pleased to see much wider range available on menu! I chose the 2x thighs with garlic bbq sauce, hallumi & caramelised onions in pitta. Fries & rainbow slaw. It was very filling & very very tasty! The slaw is dry veggies, so asked for mayo to mix it with. Staff were all lovely, however twice items were missing, food came out in wrong order, tables weren't being cleared/cleaned, cutlery was dirty. Obviously it was busy so it was very noisy (which can't be helped) so not very relaxing xx

I wouldn’t ordinarily review a Nando’s as we all know the service and we all know it’s chicken, but Niall in Southport really went the extra mile today! He greeted you with a quip, sat you at a table and made you feel like you were in a table service restaurant. He chased our order with the kitchen staff and was as polite as can be to every paying customer. Thanks Niall, much appreciated! Table 3 👍

Nando’s Southport is one of my favourite Nando’s stores. We’ve lived abroad for a couple years and been without Nando’s… this was our first stop! The staff are super friendly, the manager Ollie was very polite and happy to help. Food was excellent, arrived quickly and at a brilliant price. Very clean throughout too!

I was very impressed with how Nandos staff handled my daughter's order. She has a pineapple allergy and the staff made sure her meal was prepared in an environment that was particularly cleaned for her and they kept us informed every step of the way. The staff were kind and accomodating. And as a bonus I got to hear Zambian music in their restaurant Made the experience special for me and my kids 🥳 because I have never heard Zambian music play anywhere else in England. Not even another Nandos. The new sides are very tasty too.

The food and the atmosphere are as expected. The pricing is a bit out there for 'upmarket' chain food. £8.25 for what is little more than a large slider for a burger and as for the "bottomless" Coke at £2.95. wow! Some of the staff seem a bit clueless and why do you have paper towels in the bathroom but no basket to put them?
