Really welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. Asked to move away from the door dad is old. Not a problem, put us in a lovely quiet corner space. Food was very good pub grub 6 empty plates. Thanks Tamsin

We come here nearly every week for Sunday lunch. The food is beautiful and cooked as it should be, so not rushed. The best thing about coming here is the wonderful Lucy who always makes sure that we all have everything exactly as we like it.

First time going to the Hesketh Arms Pub, amazing service. The waitress we had was extremely confident and well mannered. I believe her name was Caitlin. She helped us with choosing our dishes and and reassuring my partner of the ingredients. I would definitely recommend this establishment to my friends and family. As well as coming back myself.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday. Clean and welcoming with friendly staff. The food was delicious, my husband had a rib eye steak which he said was cooked to perfection. He didn't want chips and was offered new potatoes as an alternative which was good. I had sea bass, again, well cooked and nicely presented.

I love the Hesketh and visit often. Hearty food, good wine selection and always a fun atmosphere.
Keith is brilliant and is the personality behind the venue for sure!
A little more attention could be shown to the cleanliness of tables and glass-wear in my opinion, but I always support as my local, regardless.

Sofia was an excellent waitress during our meal, very attentative and helped make provision for our Autistic daughter by moving us to a quiet area of the pub. Food was very good, just one minor suggestion not to char grill the children's sausage. Although I thought it tasted good by youngest wasn't to keen, so best to play it safe with young children especially for those with learning difficulties.
All in all a very nice experience.
