Came here on Tuesday dinner time for a wake after a funeral. The staff were very professional and helpful. The buffet was really nice and tasty, the usual things but all very good. Really couldnt fault The Duke as a venue.

Was very pleased with THE OLD DUKE pub and restaurant. Very neat and tidy, friendly staff. But most of all very reasonable priced, and great tasting food. We had the mixed grill this time and it was very nice. Good portions on the plates and very tasty. Would recommend to anyone to visit.
No one to welcome at the door,most unusual. Table request granted menu suitable for all no complaints regarding food, one dessert was ordered but arrived after everyone finished their coffees. That was a bit tricky as it was for our friend who has learning disabilities, frustration in waiting.
