Well what can I say?
What a great experience,friendly and approachable staff,a beautifully clean and tidy establishment and the food was excellent. The menu is appealing and clear. The food came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the Old Duke to anyone. We were relaxed and comfortable there,it was a lovely couple of hours. I would like to thank everyone for a great experience. Fabulous 👍
Been coming here for a few years,and had a good variety of meals. I have definitely Found the burger's been there best food personally.
Last visit was no difference, food was on my table within 30mins was piping hot and kids got food first something I like about the old duke they always ask if you want to kids food first 🥇 or with the adult starter's.
Staff are always pleasant and are happy to help, clearly enjoy there jobs:) when asked where toilet was they walked round and showed one of the family members.
Will visit again:)
Went for Mother's day lunch, and we received a very warm welcome.
The food was really good and a big shout out to Jess who looked after us and made sure everything was perfect.
Good quality real cask ale...pleasant surroundings good outside area.
The food was outstanding and at a very reasonable price. It was Father’s Day we did have to wait a while for the food to arrive but that was expected. The lad Simon who took us to are table was unbelievable, he could cheer anyone up who is feeling down. He was so helpful with the kids he is an absolute credit to the Duke, what a top man
Came here on Tuesday dinner time for a wake after a funeral. The staff were very professional and helpful. The buffet was really nice and tasty, the usual things but all very good. Really couldnt fault The Duke as a venue.
I spent a lovely birthday here, had chips, mozzarella balls and a nice latte!
Myself , my wife and three daughters had a great evening, atmosphere was pleasant, staff were helpful and friendly. This has been my third visit to the old duke in the last four months as we recently moved to the area. The food was not as good as my last visit as both steaks were cooked too much and had gone like rubber, it was a bank holiday so it took a little longer for the food to arrive and could quite easily been overlooked but we ate it regardless. Overall a nice evening.
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere,very welcoming and friendly staff. Food on a very high standard and delicious, worth every penny. Thanks to all the working staff and the management for all your hard work.We definitely gonna be coming again and again. Best of luck and success in the future
Spot on as always. Myself and my wife frequent The Old Duke with our daughter, and have rarely had a poor meal from here (everyone has their off days after all). The service is always good, all the staff we've encountered have been chatty and friendly (in particular the dark haired lad that manages and a young red-headed girl with glasses, both of whoms names desert me) and to top it off it is affordable and has excellent deals on. We both recommend it to people whenever we get the chance!
