Very nice shop with the usual quality items plus friendly service. The toilets on the 1st floor and free to use cash machine on the ground floor made for bonus points here as well. Great central location and food hall section provides good dinner options when you are out and about.
I have got a wedding next month. I picked a few dresses to take into the changing room. The assistant who greeted me was very helpful, friendly and professional from the word go, I immediately felt at ease. The assistant was called Emma and was new. Emma said if there was anything I needed help with
Can be a bit pricey but myself and my partner do well from the yellow tagged reduced to clear. Also some items are quite competitive and the thing that is most attractive is the quality. Less ultra processed foods and more organic.
Apart from the americano totally lacking any flavour, the cafe is lovely, especially the sultana scones. Always friendly staff. Early morning is a relaxing experience.

Always a pleasure to shop here.The staff are helpful and the coffee shop is excellent. I always find it very touching to watch the coffee shop staff despite being busy engaging so nicely with older "regulars" who are by themselves.
The price gap between the premium food here & mainstream supermarkets has started to narrow which is great! Impressive food hall @ M & S Southport!
The self-service tills however are slow- barcode scanners need to be sorted out as takes several scans to recognise some items......
Visited foodhall. Well stocked and busy but queues small and hardly had to wait.
Fantastic Department store with lots of quality choices in clothes, home products and a fabulous food department. The only minus is that a lot of the fresh produce is sold on use by date at full price, so keep an eye on the packaging before buying.
Staff are very helpful but been in store three times since Christmas and toilets are dirty ,smelly and not nice need a good clean and up date
We visited Southport cafe today 28th Nov mid afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service and efficient staff. The whole team were working together and as soon as everything was servex the lad at the till filled the water jugs and wipedeve

Used for the food hall which was on the whole well stocked and well organised. Fridges were neat and very clean and there was a good gluten free section in both ready made and ambient products. Slight gripe is the overuse of plastic when they are hot on making us customers not using it.
