A fav of mine yet often over-looked by many.
Friendly service from the lovely lady at the front counter ( I think her hubby does the cooking).
I ordered Sweet & Sour Special ( Chicken, Pork and King Prawn in a light batter, in sauce) with boiled rice (total £6.50)
And....
3 Meat Special Fried Rice (Beef, Chicken & Char Sui) (also £6.50)
Prices are competitive & the portions are large ( I always pop my boiled rice container into the fridge to eat the next day).
The meat is always tender & tasty and the king prawns are the real deal.
The menu is extensive, with most of the usual favourites on there.
Been going here for years… food is always good. Prices great and very friendly!
Honestly never had a bad meal here, it’s always spot on the last 5+ years I’ve been going!

Be aware there are several take aways in southport with the word lucky in the name. I think the bad reviews on here are actually for the other shops. Lucky house is a fantastic takeaway and i yse it frequently
Started going here a few weeks back ...Egg fried rice is the best ive ever hard with lot's of sping onions running though it .
Upto now i simply can't fault it beautiful hot food .
Well what do I say.... I had special chow mein chicken and ham fried rice prawn toast chips and prawn cracker everything was absolutely lovely best Chinese I've had in Southport and I have sure tried alot, definitely be ordering from here from now on 🥰

Love their food. Not greasy. Really tasty. Shame they are using the previous business name, as they have really bad online reviews everywhere!!! Maybe think about renaming??
