San Felipe Mexican Restaurant

Waiter was completely on top of his game and food came out superfast. Food was average-at-best and probably pre-made cuz it was rather dry and flavorless. My companion had fajitas which were piled high, but was told didn't even taste like there was any fajita seasoning on it and not many peppers or onions but plenty of chicken. I almost always get tacos de carne asada or carnitas. Got the carnitas and although tender the crispy outside was very dry and topped with onions and tomatoes, which I've never seen before and all my travels. It was our first time there and we're new to the area. I'm definitely going to try somewhere else because this rain is about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 on the food alone. Lots of families with lots of kids. So they must have a good kids menu or was just tourists at the beach. Place was nice though, not a hole in the wall joint. My companion doesn't drink so I didn't drink either so I can't tell you about the Margaritas cuz I normally get one when I go to Mexican. I also had a piece of which to my knowledge is grilled and this was definitely boiled but tasted alright.

Fantastic Mexican food. Great and **FAST** service. Seemed like my food was in front of me before it would've been humanly possible. I had just a basic Chicken and cheese Quesadilla with refried beans. It was delicious and the perfect amount of food. I left full, but not stuffed, and without leftovers. We'll absolutely be back!
