Doc Meridian Wine Shop

We happened to visit the shop next to Doc Meridian while the owner was celebrating her birthday with cake and Doc Meridian wines for the customers. We ate cake, had a glass of wine, and liked the wine so much we stopped in to buy bottles to take home. Doc Meridian's was so charming, I wished I could have stayed and enjoyed a glass at one of the tables. I made a point to visit during my next trip and met Heather only to learn that the great tasting wine I selected also supports a charitable cause. Doing my part for humanity, I also bought a bottle that supports "wine to water", a different charitable cause. All of the wine I bought was priced the same as the so-so stuff I buy at home. The wine is tasty, the shop charming, and meeting Heather was delightful. It's a great spot all around! Highly recommend

Heather was absolutely amazing!!! She was incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable. My husband and I visited in search for a wine for the year of our anniversary and we are so grateful for the learning experience. We sat and drank wine and were treated with a tour through their back yard garden!! You would be a fool to pass up an experience at this incredible wine shop!!

I can't say enough about Doc Meridian Winery in Southport, NC. You must come here and experience it for yourself. Heather made us feel right at home. I appreciate her excitement for wine and passion for people and community. It's a great place to have a glass of wine and catch up with the locals. If you need a wine recommendation, Heather is who you need to ask. We have a list of destinations when we visit Southport and Doc Meridian Winery just got added to the list.
