Went to visit recently the new landlord was really friendly, lady behind the bar was great. Place looked really clean and inviting. Was made a fuss of when we arrived and made us feel really welcome. Great priced drinks. Highly recommend. We will be back!
Just spent three nights at The Crown in Southwell. The landlord was really friendly and polite, rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was an extremely generous continental and served at a time to suit us ( different each day). We would highly recommend
Cant say anything about the hotel as I haven’t been. Service is fine at the pub, but the pool table charged my card twice for one game, and in a pint of Moretti the glass was dirty and there was stuff floating at the bottom of the beer. That is not very good when a pint is so expensive here. The music is good.
We ventured in for the first time and were pleasantly surprised to see fresh modern decor and receive a very warm welcome from the man behind the bar . Place was clean , served quickly with affordable pricing . Polite and friendly bar person serving what we craved most which was a positive atmosphere . We will be returning .
